Carrefour Celebrates 50 Years of the UAE

Over AED 2.5M Worth of Prizes, 500 products with 50% Discounts

Dubai, UAE, 23 November 2021: Carrefour – which is owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim in the UAE – is treating the UAE community to huge savings, fantastic prizes, and surprising giveaways in celebration of the 50 years of the UAE’s formation. Carrefour’s biggest ever National Day campaign begins from 22nd November, whilst a special activation from 2 – 4 December is set to see Carrefour give out free ice cream to various communities across the UAE.

The Emirati retailer, who recently celebrated its 26th anniversary of being part of the UAE community, is giving away AED 2. 5M in the run up to National Day to over five thousand Carrefour customers. Every day, 500 customers will win AED 500, whilst 5 lucky customers will be randomly selected to win AED 50,000 on 2 December. In addition, 500 products will be on sale with up to 50 per cent discount on major categories including food and beverage, local fresh produce, electronics, home and kitchen appliances, and much more.

From 2 – 4 December, Carrefour’s very own branded ice cream trucks will be visiting selected neighbourhoods covering Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. Emirati employees of the leading retailer have volunteered to treat residents and tourists alike to a free ice cream. Delicious flavours that represent the colours of the UAE flag will ensure there is something for everyone this National Day.
